Summer Picnic! Outfit + Rosé Spritzer Recipe / Truly Jamie
Hello Gorgeous!
Hope you are all having a great week so far! It’s only Tuesday, but this post is going to make you crave the weekend… I’m sorry in advance.
A few weeks ago Faith and I had the funnest little summer picnic. We had rosé spritzers, crackers (that Faith couldn’t even eat because they had nuts in them and she’s allergic LOL), cheese, and lots of fruit. What more could I ask for? I wanted to do this because summer is almost OVER! You guys. I say “almost” but really, fall is literally weeks away. Summer’s basically over, let’s just say that. We had to have one last hurrah and have a cheers to summer 2017. It’s been real. (REAL quick to be honest).
First of all, how cute is this rosé? An Instagramable bottle of rosé called “Summer Water”? Say no more. I was happy to find out that it also tastes amazing. I’ve been on a rosé kick all summer so this bottle was fitting. I was feeling creative so true to form, I found a recipe for a rosé spritzer on Pinterest. And it was a success! We loved it and it was delicious. The recipe will be below for you guys to try out before the summer ends.
I had to throw in that pic of me eating watermellon because that’s real life. LOL.
I have some shocking news to tell you guys. This dress… is from… wait for it… AMAZON! Do we die?! Amazon has been SLAYING the game. I swear Jeff Bezos is going to take over the world. I’ve been shopping on Amazon so much lately (per usual) that I decided to upgrade to Prime and it was the best decision ever. The dress is only $13.99 and comes in over 30 different summery prints! We are getting into fall here soon but if you’re in California like me, you can probably get use out of this dress for the next few months.

ROSÉ SPRITZER INGREDIENTS
– CHILLED ROSÉ (I USED THE BRAND “SUMMER WATER”)
– GRAPEFRUIT LA CROIX
– RASPBERRIES AND GRAPEFRUIT SLICES FOR GARNISH
(I FORGOT TO BUY GRAPEFRUIT BUT IT WOULD BE PERFECTION TO THROW A SLICE IN YOUR DRINKS)
ALSO ADD SOME ICE IF YOU PREFER.
Measurements are up to your preference, depending on how strong you want the drinks.
Recipe was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest from designlovefest.com

I hope you guys enjoyed this post but more importantly, I hope you enjoy what’s left of your summer. Fall is coming and I’m getting excited! Let me know what YOU want to see this fall. Snapchat/dm/comment/message me your requests.
While I have you guys here, I want to mention something that’s weighing extremely heavy on my heart. Hurricane Harvey has the city of Houston in absolute distress. They need all of the help that we can possibly give them. I’m urging you to DONATE to help bring relief to the victims affected by this tragedy. I have shared this Go Fund Me for the animals of Houston multiple times and I’m going to share it again on here. Thousands of animals (dogs, cats, even HORSES AND COWS) have been left behind to die and they are HELPLESS innocent creatures that have no idea what’s going on. I can’t help but get emotional while writing this. Even if all you can donate is $1, DO IT! Please keep Texas in your prayers. Thank you! XO.
