ON TREND: UTILITY WEAR FOR FALL 2018

Hey guys! Welcome to the first post of my new blog series, “ON TREND“. You all know that I talk about “what’s trending” on my Youtube channel like it’s my job…well, it kind of is my job LOL (unintentional dad joke). So, I thought it would be fun to spotlight some of those trends that I’m loving and share how I’m rocking them.

These posts will be short, sweet and mainly photos. Just how I like my books. Just kidding. I’m full of lame jokes today, sorry ’bout it. Haha.

Today we’re talking about the UTILITY trend.

I’m warning you now, the words “Utility”, “trend,” and “fall” will be extremely overused in this post. LOL.

This trend comes in all shapes and sizes; dresses, jumpsuits, jackets, pants, you name it. You guys probably have a utility piece in your closet and don’t even know it- you know, those army green jackets with pockets? That style is considered a utility jacket. Those jackets have been a staple every fall season but this year we’re seeing a ton of utility jumpsuits and dresses that I’m just loving. Everything has a really cool girl, chic street style vibe that I’m obsessed with.

I recently picked up this dress from PrettyLittleThing and knew I had to pair it with my white Air Force 1’s. This style works perfectly with sneaks. I accessorized it a bit with these super cool earrings from Something Navy, my ring bag from Forever 21, a silver watch and band from Daniel Wellington and my newest sunnies from Quay Australia. Next on my shopping list for this trend is a jumpsuit- either army green or black like this dress.
